The summer has been hot. Today we have rain. We needed it. Larry and Sandra have been making sure we're hiking to new locations. Great summer.

I've been a little busy

This post is for my friend Julie - she's in the south pacific floating around on a sail boat with partner Geoff. She's "one hell of a woman" and sailed the ocean blue. They started in Mexico - crossed the pacific and are now somewhere in the Cook Islands. I miss her and hope she's having the time of her life.

It's been a hot summer, in the 80's this past week. The other hot news (and I'm sure no one has heard) is that our Governor quit. I'm really happy. She could try and explain it away, but when all is said and done, she quit. She left us hanging. Let's just say- we are progressing our way into the future without her. I'm sure we're better off.
