Quick walk to see the mountain. Denali is 200 miles from Anchorage but on a clear cold winter day can be seen from almost anywhere in Anchorage. My house is about 4 miles from Kincaid Park and from the main parking lot the beach is about a 20 minute walk down the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail .
