We joined our friends Tom and Hobbs at the Fireweed Station http://fireweedstationinn.com/
to participate in the Oosik Classic Ski Race and Tour http://www.anchoragenordicski.com/Events/oosik.htm 
The inn is a fabulous place. Tom and Hobbs are great cooks, know much about the area and can hook you up with any number of adventures. It is a modern, spick and span clean Inn located on the road to Talkeetna. It is a peaceful and quiet with tons of adventures awaiting. 
Here's more pictures from the race. It was fabulous. Ray and I decided it was too nice a day to race and toured the 20 mile loop soaking up the sun and the views. Here's a few pictures.
