My sister Patrice - "Tissy" ran the Boston Marathon. We decided to have a "Metcalfe girl" family reunion and met up with sister Heather to provide our sister with a cheering section. Turns out that there was such a huge cheering section she couldn't hear us! It was exciting to watch and hard to run.
When I got home from the trip there was just a little bit more skiing to do. It's the time of year for 'freeze thaws' which provide a solid smooth surface to 'skate ski' on. All the meadows and river valleys turn into a ski marathon track.
