So Spring is here, the weather ever changing so it leaves time for skiing at Alyeska (can you say "white out"), and visits with the newest Brudie. Sigrid and Nina invited me on a ski day with Mary and Kristine which included lunch at the Sitzmark at Alyeska. the plans are to tear down the old Hotel and day lodge this summer. Talk centered around remembering their early days at the resort. Nina remembers an avalanche and being scooped up by a passing stranger (she was 3 or 4) and staying ahead of the avalanche as it rumbled down the hill stopping just short of the lodge. Little Eivin is growing up - he's got some big brown eyes and is a smiley guy. 
Today (April 5) it's snowing and the weather report suggests that we'll have between 5 and 11 inches of snow.
