60 degrees and the snow is going fast. We left the house around 4:30 - Canyon Road is a bit of a mess but if you crawl along you can make it by most of the deep ruts caused by spring run off. You can see that parking is a bit limited but it all worked. The snow was firm (no post holes) and we were able to climb right up the "gut". Have I mentioned that I love my new skis? They are Volkl Aura's with the Dynafit TLT bindings and I'm using the Scarpa Diva boots. I did not grow up skiing and I'm here to tell you that sometimes it is "all about the gear". This set up has made skiing WAY BETTER.
