Anchorage Freeze Project - appropriately named

We were in the deep freeze for several weeks. We did get out and try to enjoy it and, in fact did, most interesting and fun was taking in the Anchorage Freeze Project. I'm hoping they repeat the event every year.

I think we almost set a new record for consecutive cold days, it was below zero for at least 15 days. Layering is the thing to do. My sister presented me with a skhoop for my birthday and I fell in love with it during the cold snap. It wears nicely while cross country skiing.
